TH5953 is a ready to use, 0.00 lbs/gal VOC waterborne surface cleaner designed specifically for areas with low VOC regulations. TH5953 is medium-drying and is designed to remove tar, wax, oil, grease, road grime, silicone, and surface contaminants prior to sanding or bodywork as well as pre-cleaning before applying topcoats. TH5953 may be used on bare metal without concern for immediate flash rusting and on plastic to minimize static build-up.
This product has been discontinued. The replacement product is Axalta VS1100 Surface Cleaning Solvent - Low VOC.

Application Instructions
2. Follow by wiping with a clean, lint-free cloth until dry. Be sure to wipe the surface completely clean and dry. If TH5953 is allowed to dry on the surface, re-apply and wipe until thoroughly dry.
3. In low temperature applications, be sure to dry the surface completely before applying primers or topcoats. Additional heat or air movement may be used to speed up the solvent evaporation.
Note: Protect from freezing. Best used when temperatures are maintained at or above 70°F / 21°C. Do not use on solvent sensitive substrates.
