Imron® Explorer Basecoat
A solventborne basecoat coating designed to deliver excellent appearance, durability, and eye-catching color. This low-solids basecoat has a ready-to-spray VOC of 6.2 lbs/gal (743 g/l) and is available in solid, metallic-effect and pearl-effect mixed colors. Intended for use with Imron Elite 8460S™ and Imron Elite Productive 8890S™ clearcoats to form a complete multi-stage basecoat/clearcoat system for the Commercial Transportation market.

Application Instructions
Application
Apply Imron Explorer basecoat in 2–3 medium coats or to hiding. Allow a flash between 8 to 10 minutes between coats.
Allow 15-30 minute flash prior to clear coating with Imron 8460S or 8890S Clearcoats.
